Fast Facts for Food Vendors
Vendors are encouraged to set up their food truck or trailer on Saturday, July 27. Alumni representatives will be on-site Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to assist you. If you cannot set up on Saturday, we require your unit to be set by 8:30 a.m. on Sunday. You will only have access to set up on the listed days and times above, as there are gates to the property that will lock after these hours.
Dropping a vehicle before Saturday, July 27 to "save" your location is prohibited. Vendors will be placed in the order in which they arrive on-site with their vending units. Please be courteous to fellow vendors, artists and volunteers by following our guidelines.
Vending space is at a premium. Your vending unit is the only vehicle authorized to be on-site once the show begins. All non-vending vehicles must be parked in the adjacent parking lots by 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 28. Tow vehicles and trailers must be parked in the adjacent parking lots as well.
Vending fees are $175. Payment can be cash, cashiers check or credit card and is due upon acceptance to the show. Payment is required prior to set-up.
Soda and water sales are prohibited. The UToledo Alumni Association reserves the right to sell soda and water.
Multiple vendors: The UToledo Alumni Association reserves the right to enlist the use of multiple vendors and strives to keep duplication of menu items to a minimum, but reserves the right to add items as deemed beneficial to the event.
Required paperwork: In addition to your application, all vendors, including recurring participants, will be required to submit:
An entire menu of items you wish to serve including the price you charge. Not all items may be accepted and items not accepted are prohibited to be served without approval.
UToledo food service waiver
Diagram of vending unit (provided in the application form) and power requirements with plug configuration
In addition, all food vendors are required to have an active City of Toledo Mobile Food Vendor License. To learn more or apply, visit toledo.oh.gov/business/mobile-food
Please submit the completed application and all of the additional materials at the same time.
